Spoon Publishing is a Content Agency. This means we produce magazines, films, newsletters, websites, mobile applications and events, all led by strong editorial communication.
The company was founded in 1998 and has grown continually, with a stable economy. Today we employ around 40 people and have a turnover of roughly 70 Mkr. Spoon is owned by Bonnier Tidskrifter, the largest magazine publishing company in the Nordics, which gives us a unique position in the marketplace. Thanks to this relationship, we have great access to research, experience and knowledge in everything involving magazine production, as well as a financially strong owner, known for its reliability and longevity in the media business.
The magazines that Spoon produce play an important role in our clients’ businesses. We set initial targets, measure continuously and follow up all projects, whether they are staff magazines, customer periodicals, organization-wide publications or any other type of editorial communication.
Spoon has longstanding experience in communicating with all kinds of target groups. We are used to communicating professionally and privately with all kinds of readers, in all kinds of situations, on all sorts of subjects. We make magazines that engage readers ineverything from cookery or running companies to cutting steel.
In terms of both content and design, the publications we produce are absolutely first class, and have consequently won many prizes in various competitions. We work on publications with a global reach, bringing with it a high demand for quality. Spoon is involved in quality control throughout the entire process, from the idea stage to the final delivery. We have huge competence in-house in the shape of editors, writers, and designers, as well as a wide network of freelancers.
Resources and capacity Spoon has some 40 permanent staff, most of whom are journalists with experience in magazines and the daily press. We also have an extensive freelance network, so we can guarantee that we find the right person for each job, and it is no problem covering for any possible illness or any other unforeseen situation, with the staff in-house.
